When paying by credit card, you will have the option to have your method of payment stored for future convenience by checking the "Remember Me" option during checkout.
When choosing this option, there are a few things to be aware of:
- When storing a payment for later use, you will be prompted by our payment processor, Stripe, to provide a phone number where you can receive SMS/text messages to confirm your identity via 2 Factor Authentication. If you can’t access your SMS/2-Factor authentication code, you will need to reach out to Stripe. They require you to contact them directly to have the “Remember Me” verification prompt disabled on your account, which will allow you to continue to pay by credit card. You can contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org. They have a very responsive support team, and typically answer requests within 24 hours. (If you need to post an ad while you’re waiting for Stripe to get back to you, contact us at email@example.com.
- If you ever need to update the card that is stored on file, you will need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask us to remove it from your account. The next time you login you will be prompted for a new method of payments
