Are you wanting to work a seasonal job, and wondering if it's possible to do so and bring your family? While some options may be available, in general, family housing is not available. The housing options that seasonal employers provide is commonly dorm style. Some have cabins or even wall tents, but the majority of accommodations are shared with other staff.
Many of the employers on CoolWorks are rural, some actually remote, so child care options typically are not available while you're working.
If you're traveling in an RV, and the employer provides a camping spot, it may be possible. However, RV spots are often reserved for couples, so if a spot is provided, both adults may have to be working employees. Be sure to confirm this information with the employer during the application process.
With all that said, of course there are always exceptions to the rule. Some seasonal employers are located in mountain towns where you may be able to secure your own housing and child care. Also, sometimes lodges, ranches or RV resort/campgrounds hire a seasonal management couple, and often this will include private housing, so it may be possible to have children, but that will depend on the individual employer.
As with every detail, just be sure to communicate your questions and concerns up front with the employer prior to accepting a position so that everyone involved is on the same page.
