Throughout your hiring season, you may need to Open or Close jobs based on your hiring needs. Closing a Job will remove it from your public Jobs List so that candidates will no longer be able to view or apply for that Job. Fortunately, Opening and Closing Jobs is as easy as a click of button!
To open or close a Job, follow these steps:
- From your Staffing Center Dashboard, scroll down to the Department that contains the Job you wish to Open/Close (or if you're already viewing a particular Department, locate the Job you wish to adjust)
- Click on the Job Title
- Locate the Open/Closed radio button underneath the Job wage information
- Click on the button to toggle between Open/Closed
When a Job is set to "Closed", it will be removed from your Job List, and applicants browsing your available Jobs will no longer be able to see it. When a Job is set to "Open", it will appear in the Job List as long as you have at least 1 Unfilled Postion within that job. If all of your available positions are filled because hired applicants have been assigned to all exisiting positions, the Job will not show up in your Jobs List even if the Job is set to Open, and you will need to add at least 1 position for the Job to appear in your Job List again.
