The Featured Listing is a supplemental add-on to a Highlighted Job, Help Wanted Ad, or Enhanced Profile designed to help employers drive extra traffic and interest to their listings for 7 days. In order to retain their value, a limited inventory is made available, with new inventory being released on a rolling 28-day (4 week) basis.
If you are trying to Reserve and Purchase a Featured Listing, only dates that are highlighted in green have available inventory to be eligible for a Featured Listings. In the screenshot below, September 18th is the only date that does not have available inventory to start a Featured Listing.
If there is no available Featured Listing inventory available, you will see the following greyed-out box indicating "No Feature inventory available" on the Pay and Post page below where you select the date on which you'd like your Ad or Profile to be activated.
If you are wanting to Feature an actively running Highlighted Job or Enhanced Profile, but can not locate the red Feature It button next to the Profile Listing or Job Ad listing on your dashboard, that means there is no currently available inventory, either because all inventory is booked, or because the listing is not eligible to be Featured (e.g. it does not have at least 7 days remaining before expiring, or you already have another ad or your Profile featured during that time period).
Important facts to keep in mind regarding featured listings:
- To maintain equal access, Featured Listings can be reserved in a rolling 28 window, so they can only be booked (a max) of four weeks in advance. To book a date beyond that 28-day window, you'll need to come back at a later date.
- Only one feature per profile and/or ad can be running at any one time. This safeguard prevents you from competing with yourself for traffic.
- As a best practice, we recommend spacing features out by scheduling at least one "day off" in between them and changing the photo each time. These two steps help Featured Listings remain powerful and impactful with each additional run.
